Why is my image not showing?
The most common causes are a missing og:image tag, an image URL that is relative instead of absolute, or an image the platform cannot reach. The tag list shows whether og:image is present and what value it holds.
What is the difference between Open Graph and Twitter cards?
Open Graph tags, prefixed og:, are used by most platforms including Facebook and LinkedIn. Twitter cards use twitter: tags. When Twitter tags are absent, X falls back to your Open Graph tags.
I updated my tags but the preview is old.
Platforms cache previews. After changing your tags, use the platform's own sharing debugger to refresh its cache. This tool always fetches the live page, so it reflects your current tags.
